Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) made Palestine a global issue

A group of members of the International Union of Youth and Youngsters Against Occupation in Sri Lanka met with Dr. Zahra Mostafavi, President and Secretary-General of the Society for the Defence of Palestinian Nation, this morning.

At the beginning of the visit, Dr. Zahra Mostafavi said: "I am very glad to see individuals from all over the world interested in Imam Khomeini. I would also be very happy to hear in the future, that each of you will form a NGO that will spread true Islamic thoughts throughout the globe.

She continued: “Initially, the issue of Palestine was not in such status. Imam (PBUH) solidary began to preach, this move was initially started from different cities in Iran only, then it spread throughout Iran and then beyond Iran, so that now we can claim that the issue of Palestine has become global.

Following to her speech she explained that the actual mission of the Society is to globalize the issue of Palestine and gain more and more international support, she also suggested the attendees to keep in touch with the society, in order to receive guidelines and updates.
