Maariv considers M.G. Soleimani's phone call a green light to Palestinians

Israeli daily Marriv says a phone call by the Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani with the commanders of the Palestinian resistance actually served as a green light by Iran to Hamas and Islamic Jihad for launching anti0-Israeli assaults.

Israeli daily Marriv says a phone call by the Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani with the commanders of the Palestinian resistance actually served as a green light by Iran to Hamas and Islamic Jihad for launching anti0-Israeli assaults.

Yesterday, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' Quds Force reaffirmed the Islamic Republic's full support for Palestinian resistance movements.

Soleimani made the remarks in a phone call with commanders of Hamas' military wing, Ezzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, which has been defending the blockaded Gaza Strip against Israel's acts of aggression, and the Islamic Jihad resistance movement.

Maariv said the phone call means to encourage the resistance movements to launch attacks from Gaza against Israel.

In the phone call, the senior IRGC commander urged all resistance movements in the region to boost their readiness to defend the al-Aqsa Mosque.
