Revolutionary youths stage protest rally in Tehran

Hundreds of Iranian revolutionary youths have staged a protest rally at Palestine Square in Tehran on Monday against the US recognition of the occupied al-Quds as the capital of Israel.

They carried banners themed with pro-Palestinian slogans and chanted ‘death to the US,’ ‘Death to Israel,’ ‘Palestine will be freed,’ ‘Quds is symbol of Muslim unity,’ and ‘destruction of Israel is our national cause.’

In the meantime, representative of student unions said the cause of Quds was a cause of all Iranian students, adding the Islamic Republic must strive to have the free people of the world united against Israel.

Next, representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif who had joined the rally said if Muslims were not divided, the US government would have not dared recognize Quds as the capital of Israel.

Abu Sharif said that the US seeks to create a new Middle East with Israel dominating all Islamic and Christian sanctities, adding the Palestinian nation has already started its intifada against the situation and need support.

The Palestinian personality noted however that the Palestinian resistance may be the victor as the force of resistance could be the victor in Syria and Iraq against the US-backed forces.

Also, senior Iranian lawmaker, Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani said the US decision was coordinated with the Arab regimes of the region, adding however the enemy will fail in this most recent conspiracy as it failed in any previous ones.

The rally was culminated with a final statement that the enemy conspiracies, including the recent recognition decision may only be countered through force rather than negotiations or other means.

It added that the fought against the world hegemony may not relent as long as the world’s underprivileged could decide their fate free from the arrogant powers, led by the US government.
