Iran welcomes any
inter-Palestinian deal

Director General of the Middle East and North African affairs in the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Mohammad Irani says Iran welcomes any deal among the Palestinians, adding internal differences among Palestinians emerge as a stumbling block to their struggle against Israel.

Irani told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that Israel has already been abusing the separation of the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza, adding unity would help the Palestinian fate.

“Islamic Republic welcomed any agreement between the Palestinian brothers who have always suffered at the hand of Israel,” he said, alluding to the current reconciliation talks among the Palestinian groups.
