Head of the national media basij organization says the Daesh terror group seems to be seeking to relocate its base following its back to back defeats in Iraq and Syria.
Mahmoud Basiri told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that some analysts believe the terror group was weighing to leave for Afghanistan and focus on the central Asia.
The analyst added however that the terror group may commit blind terror operations in the next few months.
“The end of Daesh by no means translates into the end of its root causes” he said, adding the roots of Daesh thoughts must be stifled.
In another regard, the analyst said Daesh may survive on financial aid from certain regional states as it has lost its occupied oil well in Iraq.
Basiri added that the regional states in order to counter the deviated thought must form an integrated alliance.
