Hojaji's martyrdom embodied elements of Ashura uprising

Head of the research center of the Global Assembly of Islamic Awakening, Hossein Akbari says the martyrdom of the Iranian military advisor in Syria, Mohsen Hojaji has turned to be embodying every element of the Ashura uprising.

He made the remarks in a talk show titled ‘Jahanara’ in the Iranian TV.

Akbari touched on the back to back victories against the Daesh terrorist in Iraq and Syria and said the US government pursues post-Daesh scenarios in the region.

As for Iran-Saudi conflict, Akbari said Saudis thought the Syrian President Bashar Assad will be overthrown in two or three months however they were wrong.

The Iranian analyst believed that a sort of rationality both in the US and Saudi would ultimately prompt the rulers in both states not to commit any mistaken decision despite the colossal military purchases by Saudi.

He also noted that the US government is well aware it would not be the final victor of any irrational adventure in the region.

The analyst then touched on the human rights situation in Yemen and enquired why the international human rights bodies have kept reticence towards the human tragedies in the country.
