Ancient jar unearthed in blockaded Gaza
A pottery jar dating back to the early Bronze Age, in 3500 BC, was unraveled in Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said.
A pottery jar dating back to the early Bronze Age, in 3500 BC, was unraveled in Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said.
The jar was widely used in the Canaanite epoch to save liquids of various kinds, such as oil and beverages.
The ministry said that preliminary steps have been carried out to repair the pot, adding that it will be put on display at Pasha’s Palace Museum in Gaza.
