Jenin residents bid final farewell to two martyrs

Hundreds of Palestinian citizens took part in the funeral of the two Palestinian martyrs Saad Salah, 21, and Aws Salama, 17, in Jenin city on Wednesday, according to PIC.

 

The mourners passed through the streets of Jenin chanting slogans supporting the Palestinian resistance and calling for ending the occupation.

 

A leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Sheikh Bassam al-Saadi, said in his speech at the funeral that the West Bank is on fire and it might "explode" at any moment.

 

He called on the Arab and Muslim nations to stop their side battles which allow Israel to tighten its grip on the Palestinian people.

 

A general strike prevailed in Jenin's markets in mourning over the martyrdom of the two youths.
