Islamic Jihad forms Unit of Quds with 2000 new recruits

Armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance group says its battalion has been expanded by two thousand more forces.

The recruits are incorporated into a special unit called 'Unit of Quds', according to a clip on the Palestinian Today website

The Saraya al-Quds Brigades made the news public on the occasion of the international day of Quds.

A member of the armed brigades said the movement would hold fast to the line of resistance against Israel until the full liberation of the land of Palestine.

The clip says the movement was engaged in forming an army of fighters for the liberation of Palestine.

It also called on free men worldwide to support the Palestinian nation in its efforts for the restoration of its rights.

The movement at the same time cautioned about pinning hope in negotiation table with Israel, adding talks with Israel would allow it to gain more interests from the Palestinian nation.
