Int'l Day of Quds shows path to salvation of Palestinian nation

Iranian expert in regional affairs, Abdulvahab Khateri says the founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini designated the international day of Quds for the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan in an effort to show the path to the salvation of Palestinian nation.

The expert told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that the international rally would boost the Muslim unity and help them to counter the conspiracies of the world arrogance, led by the US government.

The expert noted that the designation showed that the military option was not the sole option for the liberation of Palestine rather it must be coupled with a popular movement that is fulfilled by the international rally.

Khateri added that the spiritual ambience of the holy month of Ramadan would help Muslims to pay more attention to issues of Muslim causes, including the Palestinian cause.
