Israel aims to create false quake to destroy Aqsa mosque

Palestinian MP Ahmed Abu Halabiya, the head of the international Quds foundation – Gaza branch, warned that the Israeli occupation is intending to create an artificial earthquake in occupied Beit Ul Moqaddas through continuing to build tunnels under the city which would effect and destabilize the foundations of the Aqsa Mosque.

At the conclusion of a training course on Beit Ul Moqaddas organized by the foundation, Halabiya explained that the Zionist network of tunnels extends to the old Arab neighborhoods where the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) established a tourist city under the ablution facility as well as a synagogue containing a model of the alleged temple, pointing out that the western wall between the Mathara and Silsela gates collapsed as a result of the ongoing Israeli excavations under the city. 
 
The lawmaker elaborated that the IOF continues to withdraw the IDs of the residents of Beit Ul Moqaddas where it has withdrawn 55,000 IDs since it occupied the holy city in addition it embarking on building thousands of new settlement units.

The lawmaker added that the IOA forced thousands of Palestinian natives of Beit Ul Moqaddas to leave the city and worked on deporting thousand others.

The lawmaker stressed the need for holding popular and factional rallies to confront the Zionist schemes in Beit Ul Moqaddas, calling on the Arab League, the Islamic conference organization and the Arab and Islamic popular and political levels to support the steadfastness projects in Al- Qods.

For his part, Dr. Yousef Al-Mansi, the acting minister of Awkaf and religious affairs in the PA caretaker government in Gaza, said that the recent collapse in one of the Aqsa Mosque's yards rang an alarm bell.

Mansi, in a message to the Moroccan monarch in his capacity as the chairman of the Quds committee, the OIC secretary general, and a number of Arab Awkaf ministers, said that the Israeli diggings were still ongoing under the foundations of the holy site.

The minister called for swift moves to save the Aqsa Mosque.
