Truce, essential for next Zionist government

An Iranian expert in Middle East affairs said any next Israeli government needs a truce with the Hamas movement.

Hussein Alayi told Qodsna that political tensions will continue in Israel, keeping the Palestinian issue atop political campaigns in the Israeli community.

Alayi touched on the Israeli failure in Gaza, adding that any party which takes office in Israel will need a truce with the Palestinian resistance.

He said however that Benjamin Netanyahu would exert more pressures on Hamas if he sweeps premiership.
