Islamic Jihad envoy meets Qodsna Chief

Representative in Tehran of the prominent Palestinian resistance movement Islamic Jihad, Nasser Abu Sharif inspected Qods News Agency Tuesday and got familiar with the agency's news work.
 
Qodsna Managing Director, Iraj Sebqati briefed Abusharif about the records and activities of the agency since establishment.
 
Sebqati also informed the Palestinian figure about the vast coverage the agency's material had received in domestic and foreign pres or agencies, including the Palestinian.
 
Sebqati appreciated warm cooperation between the agency and the former envoy of the movement in Tehran, Abu Jahad. He expressed hope the cooperation would grow.
 
"The Iranian nation is friend of the Palestinian people, particularly our brothers in the Islamic Jihad movement," Sebqati said, adding" we believe that the Palestinian people are the winners."
 
Qodsna managing director expressed the agency's readiness for any bilateral cooperation with the movement.
 
Sebqati said the Palestinian issue has always been a priority during his career adding that he craves to make a pilgrimage to the Beit ul-Moqaddas.
 
The managing director then touched on the Zionist allegations that the Palestinians sold their lands to the Zionists, urging for favorable media disclosure of the plot through a joint project between the agency and the movement.
 
"The history of occupation and expulsion of Palestinians must be documented and published," Sebqati urged, alerting that the witnesses of the story were in their old.
 
The managing director believed that the modern media propaganda was based on psychology and sociology and to illustrate the argument he noted that the ongoing Zionist aggression no longer produces the previous shock on the public opinion so that at the moment they take it as normal when realizing the 5 or 10 Palestinian people had been murdered.
 
"Our cooperation is essential to disclose the Zionist regime's crimes in an skillful manner," Sebqati urged.
 
Sebqati briefed Abusharif about the records and activities of the agency since establishment, adding Qodsna's focus was to keep alive the Palestinian debate in Iran.
 
The managing director called for regular meetings between the agency and the movement officials over the Palestinian issue. He also expressed Qodsna's readiness to cover statements and analyses by the members of the Islamic Jihad movement.
 
Qodsna managing director recounted the successful media experience of the Lebanese Hezbollah and urged the Islamic Jihad to invest more on media work to reveal the true face of the Zionist regime as well as the woes of the innocent Palestinian people.
 
Production of animations for Palestinian children and promotion of Palestinian music were other subjects which the managing director urged the Palestinian official to put on the movement's media agenda.
 
The managing director also recommended the Palestinian figure to put on the movement's media agenda the formation of theater groups, the training of holy Qoran reciters and filmmakers and the production of some films about Palestine.
 
Sebqati urged the Palestinian figure for holding exhibitions in Iran in which the Palestinian culture and history are on show.
 
For his part, Abu Sharif appreciated the IRI government and nation for their support to the Palestinian nation, adding that the common religion has drawn close the two natons of Iran and Palestine despite geographical distance.
 
"We like our brothers in Iran believe that Palestinians will be the winners" he said.
 
"We are facing with a lot of difficulties in Palestine but we also receive a large amount of spiritual support," Abu sharif added.
 
Abusharif identified lack of a single leadership as a major problem facing Palestine. He noted that Abumazen failed to unite Palestinians after the death of former presidency Yasser Arafat.
