Pakistan will never build ties with Israel

Pakistan ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafaghat Saed underlined that his country had common views with the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the Middle East issues especially the so-called peace process followed by west.

Speaking to Qodsna on the sidelines of celebration ceremonies of Pakistan's national day, Saed said, "Pakistan was among the first countries to support Palestine."

"We created several training and educational centers for the Palestinians in our country and trained hundreds of doctors or experts in many others fields including security, education, customs, aviation etc," he said.

"Assisting Palestine is our duty," the ambassador said, adding, "we sympathize with the Palestinians and consider them as our religious brothers."

Pointing to the rumors and propagandas that Pakistan has close relations with the Zionist regime, Shafaghat Saed said, "we will never have relationship with Israel until the Palestinian issue is resolved justly according to the resolutions 242 and 338 of United Nations which demands the formation of an independent Palestine."

"How can we establish ties with Israel while the Palestinian problems remain unsolved?"

"Pakistan suffered a lot from Zionist lobby so I announce that we are of a common opinion with Iran on the Middle East affairs," the envoy noted.
