Arab heads needlessly pin hope in Annapolis confab

Professor Abd al-Sattar Qasem, Palestinian professor and political analyst believed that the axis of Syria, Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah could prove a solid front against America and Zionist regime.

Qasem denounced the Annapolis confab as useless for the Palestinians adding that the meeting will primarily seek to normalize the Arab-Israeli ties.

"If the Arabs are expecting America or Zionist regime grant free concessions to the Palestinian nation, they are carrying coal to Newcastle," he added.

He asked how the Palestinians could trust some Arab countries who are allies to Israel.

"We must not fool ourselves as we did long," he urged.

"Israel tends to take concessions without giving anything. It is now after Jewish state which means that the Palestinian refugees will no longer be able to return to their lands," he issued alert.
