Hamas representative in Tehran told Qodsna: No halt to missile resistance

Abu Osama al-Moti, representative of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas in Tehran denied reports of consensus to halt resistance against Israel, saying that no agreement was in place among the Palestinian movements to stop missile attacks against occupation and resistance would continue.

Asked by Qodsna about reports of an agreement among the Palestinian movements to suspend missile attacks, Moti said that basically no decision had been adopted regarding rocket firing.

"The past weeks lull in Gaza has been a tactical decision by resistance forces rather than an agreement with Israel," he added.

Abu Osama expressed hope that resistance would expand all over Palestine, particularly in Gaza.

Maan news aganecy has quoted Tuesday "sources close to Hamas" as revealing an agreement between resistance movements to halt rocket firing amid continued Israeli crimes and as a counter-move to Israeli threats to assassinate leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements.
