Mohtashami-Pour: Islamic institutions have prepared plans to mark Palestine occupation anniversary

Days after reports were spread that US President and several other western authorities were set to take part in a consolation ceremony of the Zionist regime on the anniversary of the occupation of Palestine a leading activist in the Palestinian cause announced that Islamic and Arab bodies have prepared counter-programs to condemn occupation of Palestine.

Hojjat-ol-Islam Sayyed Ali Akbar Mohtashami-Pour, Secretary General of the Conference on Supporting Intifada and Qods told Qodsna Sunday that the international assembly of pro-Palestinian organizations had prepared different programs to counter the Zionist regime's schemes on the day, called Yom al-Nekbah (day of misery) among the Palestinians.

He also said that the Beirut-based secretariat of the deputies of different Islamic parliaments had also scheduled some programs including a meeting to be held in Belgium with an Iranian delegation at hand.

According to Mohtashami-Pour, different parliamentarians from Islamic, Arab and European countries have been invited to the meeting.

The Secretary General declined to comment on possible programs in a conference his body is set to stage on the anniversary.
