Gazans: Resistance OK; No to surrender

"Resistance, endurance and no surrender"; These are the phrases and words of the Gaza residents who have been enduring punishment of west and Zionist regime's siege for voting the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas nist regime.

Qodsna correspondent Saturday interviewed the residents of Gaza to know their views about the Zionist regime's blockade.

Mostaffa Al Nabiyeh, a film director said, "We are inured to such blockades but the Zionist enemy has always failed to reach its goals and bring the Palestinian people to kneel."

"The Zionist enemy is not pleased that the Gaza is controlled by Hamas so it has intensified its attacks and prevented the shipments of food, drugs, power and fuel to Gaza," Nabiyeh said.

"The aim of blockades against Palestinians is to make Hamas and those who elected the movement to surrender," he added.

"The more the Zionist regime continues its starvation policy, the more we would be decisive to follow law and order and continue resistance," the filmmaker noted.

Asma' Vadi, Professor of Information and History, told Qodsna that the Gaza siege is not new and the Palstinais have surmounted the worse.

"We always remained steadfast against oppression and blockade and stand firmly against the Zionist regime's plots," Vadi added.

"We will never surrender even if blockades and sieges double," the professor noted.

"If the Zionist regime wants to punish us for voting Hamas as our government, it must know that we are committed to our choice and will defend our land until the last drop of our blood," he underlined.

They are wrong if they think they can defeat us by imposing blockades," Vadi said, adding that the Palestinian people were inured to such boycotts.

Salim Al Hendi, Parliament member of youth brigades, told Qodsna that the Zionist regime's aim of the Gaza blockade is to ruin resistance.

"Undoubtedly, such sieges are inhumane because all strata of the Palestinian society including children, women, students and patients are under pressure of the blockade," he added.

"The Gaza blockade is the immediate outcome of the tour of the tyrant governor George W. Bush to Israel and the Arab countries," he said.

He called for further unity among the Palestinians, adding that if they united against the Zionist regime they would never have to surrender.

Saed Al savirki, a Palestinian poet told Qodsna correspondent in Gaza, "As anyone knows, Israel is the enemy of humanity and divine traditions but what is painful is that some Arabs and Muslims are accompanying Israel indirectly."

"We will stand against such blockaded and will remain steadfast," he added.

Haj Abu Talal ABU Safdi told Qodsna that the Gaza blockade is a divine trial.

"We will continue our resistance and pray God to end such tragedy as soon as possible," Safdi added.

"We will never surrender to Zionists," he said, adding that resistance is the only way to be freed from oppression and occupation.
