Israel lobby prefers Clinton to Trump

Iranian expert in political affairs says the Israel lobby in the US is so powerful that the final candidates in the presidential race would be chosen under their total influence.

Hanizadeh told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that anyone who takes to the race would be questioned by the Israel lobby AIPAC to see how he or she would serve the Israel interests if voted into office.

The expert considered the Democratic candidate as more favorable for the Israeli interests, adding the lobby prefers her over her rival Donald Trump taking into account her pro-Israel records during her time as secretary of state.

“The Democratic party serves a key role in the US regional policy with a view to advance the Israeli interests,” Hanizadeh said, adding Trump was less dependent on the pro-Israel lobby “due to his wealth that has weaned him from Israel money.”

Hanizadeh said Trump if chosen would follow a more independent policy than Clinton concerning Israel.
