Clinton more welcome in Israel than Trump

Tehran University Professor, Sadeq Koushki says the US presidential nominees tend to see Israel part of their national interests and for the same reason, they support Israel one way or another.

“The difference is the method of support,” Koushki told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

The university professor touched on the Israel lobby influence in the US institutions, adding any presidential nominee has to coordinate with the lobby in order to survive the campaigns.

The professor noted that both presidential nominees in the US elections have met with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, adding they have no other option but to win his support.

Koushki said however that Hillary Clinton seems to be more welcome in Israel. “She looks to be more able to give insurance to Israelis,” he said, adding Israelis consider her as more efficient than Donald Trump in securing the Israeli interests.
