Resistance in Iraq, Syria part of anti-Israeli struggle

Secretary General of the Iraqi group, Nojaba Islamic Resistance, Sheikh Akram al-Ka’abi says the Palestinian resistance is appreciable for its perseverance against Israel “as a major western level of power in the region.”

Ka’abi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran on Sunday.

“The Palestinian nation has never relinquished resistance in the post-occupation years; the nation believes the Zionist regime has occupied the land through deception and force and that it must be countered by any means at hand,” the Iraqi politician said.

Ka’abi said the Iraqi resistance groups are in common with the Palestinian nation in enduring the plight of occupation.

He added that the current popular struggle in Iraq against the takfiri terror groups is part of the whole anti-Zionist struggle in the region.

In another regard, he called the Saudi-Israeli normalization in recent months as despicable, adding the Saudi government was backbiting the Palestinian nation and the rest of the Muslim community by abusing its position in the world of Islam.

“They however could not justify their ties with the occupying regime of Israel; this is a clear treason,” he said.
