Culture of anti-Israeli struggle has become institutionalized

Iranian expert in Palestinian affairs says the recent Arab normalization with the Zionist regime of Israel is actually a backbiting of the Palestinian nation.

Hossein Kanani Moqaddam was speaking to the Qods Nwes Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran on phone.

The expert slammed Turkey, Saudi and Egypt for their recent open drive in promoting ties with Israel, adding the countries have contravened their diplomatic gestures in supporting the Palestinian issue.

The expert added that Israel was also covertly backed by the international community as it keeps its aggression in the occupied Palestine despite a slew of resolutions against the regime.

The expert also described the current aid to the Palestinians as small and meager, adding “the Muslim states have unfortunately failed to form a deterrent power against Israel.”

“There is apparently no other option against the regime but to continue the path of struggle and perseverance,” Moqaddam said, adding the ongoing anti-occupation intifada in Palestine was unique in that it was inclusive of all Palestinian strata.

“It shows that the attitude and culture of struggle against the Zionist regime has been institutionalized in terms of intifada,” Moqaddam said, adding Israel no longer could put off the intifada through military operations.
