Israel from start sought to destroy Aqsa

Senior pro-Palestinian activist in Iran says Israel has from the start sought to destroy any sign of the Muslim civilization, including the holy al-Aqsa mosque.

Secretary General of the Society in Support of the Freedom of Quds, Mohammad Taqi Taqipour was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

“The Islamic community continues to support the cause of liberation of Quds. It has not changed its position,” the researcher in Palestinian issue said, adding however that certain Arab states have kept secret relations with Israel.

“They have not yet dared made their ties public however they due to the ongoing developments in the region they have started to reveal heir true stance,” he said.

“The stooge regimes in the region have only served the Israeli war machine and trampled on the Palestinian cause,” Taqipour said who have authored a book titled ‘Israeli Peripheral Strategy.’

“Their only benefit is to secure their monarchies through serving the powerful Zionist lobby in the US and EU,” he said.
