Saudi, Israel face crisis of legitimacy

Iranian expert in international affairs, Hassan Abedini says Saudi government and Israel have kept ties since long ago, adding the ties are fed by their strong relations to the US and Britain.

Abedini told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that Saudi seeks to present a false image of its intentions through media and money, adding however both Israel and Saudi seems to be facing a crisis of legitimacy.

“The crisis has prompted both to forge ties with one another,” he said, adding certain governments in the region have propped its legitimacy through helping the regional terror groups.

“Both regimes pursue certain joint projects including the establishment of terror groups, removal of Muslim leaders and fanning insecurity in Muslim states,” he said.
