Lebanese Hezbollah pushed Israel to precipice

Tehran University professor Sadeq Koushki says the Lebanese anti-occupation movement, Hezbollah has dealt such blows to Israel in the 2006 war that if kept they would push Israel to the precipice.

Koushki was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran on the anniversary of the 2006 Israeli war on Hezbollah that proved a failure for Israel.

The university professor cited widespread insecurity across Israel, a rise in reverse immigration from Israel and a drop in foreign investment, triggered following the 2006 war there as evidence the regime was heading towards precipice.

The analyst said the ISIS emergence was part of an Israeli scheme to pit Muslims against one another to offer Israel a security margin.

Koushki noted that the ISIS scourge has helped Israel to keep shy of Muslim agenda, adding if the waves of Muslim Awakening (dubbed in west as Arab Spring) were kept along, there would have been no longer any traces of Israel.
