Scenario in place for active presence of Israel in region

Iranian analyst Hassan Hanizadeh says Saudi and Turkey have made public their ties with Israel amid the failure of a project against the regional axis of resistance.

"They are competing to hand the golden key of the Middle East to the Zionist regime," he told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

Hanizadeh said Saudi has already had relations with Israel since five years ago, adding repeated visits to Israel by the Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel al-Jubeir point to a project in place for expanding the Israeli influence in the region.

The analyst predicted that the Zionist regime will soon open diplomatic missions in the regional Arb states, adding Saudi government will establish military, political and security ties with Israel under the US pressures.

The analyst also touched on the election of Ahmad Abulqeit as Secretary General of the Arab League, calling him Israeli puppet.

Hanizadeh said Abulqeit's election will pave the way for the Israeli active participation in the Arab and Muslim wolrd.
