An Indian reporter and pro-Palestinian activist says the international solidarity day of Quds is actually an occasion for renewing allegiance with the Palestinian cause.
News9 reporter, Abed Nakhvi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 38th edition of the annual solidarity day.
“The day helps to show concerns for the Palestinian cause; the Palestinian people will gain double energy after the annual ceremonies,” he said.
The Indian reporter also compared Imam Khomeini to renowned Indian personality Mahatma Ghandi and said the two figures were pursuing freedom.
“In fact the very free attitude of Imam Khomeini inspired him to designate the occasion,” he said.
“Imam Khomeini advanced the Palestinian issue by the designation,” Nakhvi added.
