Day of Quds helps Muslims to focus attention on Palestinian struggle
Former UN special rapporteur in Palestinian human rights says the international day of Quds was a conduit for nations to express solidarity with the Palestinian struggle and voice anger at the Israeli expansionist policies.
Richard Falk was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 38th edition of the annual solidarity occasion.
Falk noted that the Palestinian issue has remained as a problem, adding the Day of Quds that was designated by the late Imam Khomeini helps focus on the problem like the UN-designated occasion of November 29 for the Palestinian issue.
The American professor said the occasion helped Muslims to focus their attention on the Palestinian struggle.
