Day of Quds, day of unity in favor of Palestine
A senior pro-Palestinian personality in Iran says the international day of Quds is an everlasting legacy of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Head of the intifada and Quds campaign in the Iranian Islamic Publicity Organization, Ramezan Sharif was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 38th edition of the international solidarity day of Quds.
“Day of Quds has absorbed all attentions so that it flourishes in the course of time,” he said, adding the designation of the solidarity day talks of a deep insight on the part of Imam Khomeini.
“The root-cause of terror in the world largely incited by Israel,” Sharif said, adding the Day of Quds helped revive the spirit of resistance against Israel and united Muslims in favor of Palestine.
