Day of Quds helps pursue the Palestinian issue effectively
Head of the Palestinian Fraction in the former round of Iranian parliament says the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini restored the Palestinian issue back to the top of the Muslim community’s agenda.
Mojtaba Rahmandoust was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 38th edition of the international day of Quds that was designated by the late personality.
Rahmandoust said unless the designation took place, the Palestinian issue would have been forgotten, adding the designation helps the world freedom-seekers to pursue the Palestinian issue in an effective way.
The senior pro-Palestinian activist said the annual occasion has angered the Zionists as they dislike any attention to the Palestinian issue.
The former lawmaker said Israel was forging ties with the certain regional countries in a bid to deal further blows to the Muslim community.
