Imam Khomeini enjoyed strategic intuition

A senior leader of a Palestinian anti-occupation movement says the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini used his strategic intuition to warn about threats facing Palestinian issue many years before he founded the Islamic Republic.

Leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled Jaradat was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 27th demise anniversary of the late personality.

Jaradat touched on Imam Khomeini's recommendations for Muslim unity and said the ongoing scourge of the pseudo-Muslim terror groups in the region is an endeavor to counter the recommendations.

Asked about the current anti-ocupation intifada in Palestine, Jaradat admitted that there was a drop in the number of anti-occupation operations in recent weeks due to "its adversaries including the Palestinan Authority, Arab governments and terror groups."

"They do not like to have the Palestinian issue as the central issue of the Muslim community," the Palestinian figure said.

He expressed regret that certain personalities in the Muslim community have capitalized on dividing among Muslim sects.
