Imam Khomeini hoisted flag of supporting the oppressed

Palestinian charge d'affaires in Iran, Mohamad Mostafa Juheir says the late founder of the Islamic Republic hoisted the flag of supporting the oppressed even before his Islamic Revolution got triumph in 1979.

The Palestinian diplomat was speaking to Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 27th demise anniversary of the late personality.

The Palestinian figure touched on a fitwa by the late Imam when he was on exile that allowed his followers to pass their religious financial obligations to Palestinians.

Juheir also touched on Imam Khomeini’s designation of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the international day of Qods, adding “Imam watched by his heart’s eyes what we see today.”
