A US university professor says the Islamic Revolution of Iran that got triumph in 1979 had cross-border significance as it issued a stern warning for the dictators in the Middle East that their time may be over.
West Chester University professor, Lawrence Davidson was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 27th demise anniversary of the late father of the revolution, Imam Khomeini.
The American professor also attached a high significance to the role of Imam Khomeini’s successor in the Palestinian issue.
“This is important that Palestinians should not be left to feel isolated by other Muslims,” Davidson said, pointing to a drop in the support to Palestinians in certain Arab states due to the “fear of governments of Israel.”
“It is only in Iran where the Palestinian nation has Muslim state on its side,” he wrote in an email interview.
