Palestine, strategic depth of Muslim community

Chief of Iranian Judiciary’s human rights department, Mohammad Javad Larijani says the Palestinian issue deals with a human issue despite its Arabic face.

Larijani was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 27th demise anniversary of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.

Larijani called the international Zionism as an octopus that has first and foremost targeted the Muslim community in Palestine.

“The community should realize the significance of the Palestinian issue. It is the strategic depth of the community. We must defend the issue,” he said, adding that resistance was the sole way to defend the Palestinian issue.

The Iranian authority touched on the efforts by certain Arab states to normalize their ties with Israel and said they are effectively falling an Israeli trap.

“This is part of the Zionist scenario for grabbing dominance over the Middle East and the rest of the Muslim community,” Larijani said.
