Imam Khomeini targeted entire global arrogance by his anti-Zionist drive

A prominent Iranian analyst in strategic affairs says the Islamic Revolution of Iran primarily countered the ideology of Zionism in the world.

Head of the Center of Doctrinal Researches on Borderless Security, Hassan Abbasi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran.

Abbasi argued that Zionism has been the stemming point for the two destructive political schools of Marxism and Liberalism, adding once the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini declared his anti-Zionim drive, he actually targeted both political schools and their advocates, namely the US, Britain, and Israel.

Abbasi considered the occupied city of al-Quds in Palestine as a crossing point of the three Divine religions of Islam, Christianity and Judaism, adding the Palestinian issue serves as a unifying issue for the Muslim community.

Asked about the recent overtures from certain Arab states to Israel, the analyst said the Arab states have already enjoyed covert ties with the regime and they only have made them public now.

The strategic analyst likened the ruling governments of the six Arab states of the Persian Gulf to the six sides of the David Star, adding the six governments have formed a security belt in favor of Israel.

Asked about the current anti-occupation intifada in the occupied Palestine, the senior expert said the intifada would certainly meet its objectives “though it commenced in obscurity.”
