Intifada heralded revival of faith in Palestinian nation

The late pro-justice Iranian activist, Sayyed Morteza Avini believed that the Palestinian appeal for return to their historical land would never die out and would even grow warmer as the Palestinians have realized they are seeking both a national and Islamic cause.

“The political trend following the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran moves towards the establishment of a united Islamic force against Israel and for the liberation of Palestine,” the prominent author wrote.

“The identity of the Palestinian nation may never be distorted as the occupation of Palestine has never been an incident of the past; it took place in our live memory rather than being an incident of millennia ago,” he said.

Aviny believed that Palestinians had growingly realized the fact that Israel was established in the heart of the Muslim community in a bid to undermine Muslims and for the same reason, they consider their struggle as both religious and national.

The author considered the Palestinian Intifada as a revival of faith in the heart of the Palestinian nation, adding Israel is mostly scared by the very revival of faith in the nation rather than the potential threats of the Palestinian methods of struggle.

The prominent author got martyrdom 23 years ago in a minefield when he was directing a documentary on the Iranian defense against the western backed invading military of Saddm Hussein in the 1980-1988 battlefields southwest of Iran.
