Intifada will not stop until reaching ultimate goals

Mayor of the Palestinian city, Beit Lahiya in the besieged Gaza Strip describes the ongoing anti-occupation intifada as a new track launched by the Palestinian nation in their historic struggle for their freedom and return to their homeland.

Ezzoddin Dahnoun was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on phone.

The Palestinian official said the recent developments have well showed that the Palestinian nation would not relinquish the struggle until it reaches its legitimate rights.

“The newer Palestinian generation will keep the struggle with all might,” he said, adding Palestinian from all walks of life have joined the struggle, pursuing a common goal.

Dahnoun then touched on the origins of the current protests, namely the Israeli decision to put restrictions on the Palestinian access to their holy, historical mosque of al-Aqsa. “That shows the Israelis have serious intentions concerning their alleged Solomon Tomb; that’s angerous,” he said.

In another regard, the Palestinian figure called the Palestinian issue as the formost issue of the Muslim community, adding Muslims must always point their actions towards the freedom of Qods and Palestine.
