Israel scared about possibility of armed intifada

A senior Palestinian expert in international affairs says the Zionist regime tends to seek newer strategies in its relations with the Palestinians as soon as the Palestinian youths embark on a new round of anti-occupation struggle.

Sayyed Hadi Sayyed Afghahi made the remarks in an interview with the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

“The Zionists tend to field their known regional allies, namely Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar in order to hinder the popular struggle,” he said, adding the regime has grown scared about the trend of regional developments across Israel and beyond.

The analyst said however that the struggle will spread and may turn into a massive armed uprising, hence the scare across the top Zionist echelon.

Afghahi called Jordan a broker of the US, adding the Jordanian efforts to stop the anti-occupation intifada are apparently useless and would end up in failure.
